Chairman, New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), Japan
As chairman of NEDO, one of Japan’s largest public R&D management organizations, Kazuo brings with him NEDO’s expertise in the fields of clean energy and low carbon technology. Kazuo will share Japan’s experience in the development of clean energy, including photovoltaic power generation, and will also introduce best practices from NEDO’s activities while recognizing the importance of innovation.
In addition, he will comment on Japan’s efforts to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement through promoting innovation and the importance of collaboration between industry, academia and government around the world.
