Inficold’s patent pending technology enables the world’s first implementation of a "plug and play" low cost thermal storage for any compressor based refrigeration system. It is a non-invasive retrofit, which requires minimal user intervention to store electricity in a cooling medium & provide uninterrupted cooling. It can mitigate use of diesel generators during power outages, store solar energy for non-solar hours & manage ‘Time of the Day’ tariffs. The company is currently focusing on cold room & milk cooling applications at farm level cold storage, grocery retailers, pharmacy & dairy companies. Solar integration for off-grid application is being done in partnership with the National Institute of Solar Energy (Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, India).
