Alejandra Valdivia


Alejandra is a Peruvian energy engineer focused on energy transition and youth engagement. She’s founder of “Red de Jóvenes por la Transición Energética”, which is a network aimed to represent youth demands and suggestions to the energy leaders in Peru. Alejandra is the former president of the Student Energy Chapter and an alumna of the Student Energy Leaders Fellowship in 2020. Recently, she joined the social project “Ollas Sostenibles” which seeks to improve the food security in vulnerable communities in Lima, Peru with the implementation of biodigesters and urban gardens. Alejandra is passionate about research in energy policy mechanisms for the rapid development of a just energy transition.
