Jabu Mashwama (Senator), Minister for Natural resources & Energy for the Kingdom of Swaziland. Jabu is married and has two children. She holds a BSc (Maths and Chemistry), did several leadership and human resources management courses, and recently obtained MBA from GIBS – University of Pretoria.
Jabu has 15 years private sector experience in various positions including: environmental management, health and safety, and human resources management. She joined the public sector as Minister for Commerce Industry and Trade where responsibilities included: development and implementation of policies & legislation to support the nation’s goals in Commerce, Industrial Development and Trade policy. As Minister for Natural Resources and Energy, she is responsible for the development and implementation of policies and legislations to create a conducive environment & for efficient utilization and beneficiation of the nation’s natural resources in order to enhance socio-economic development.
