Global Energy Efficiency and Conservation Goal Leader, Dow Chemical Co.
Joe is the Global Energy Efficiency and Conservation Goal Leader for the Dow Chemical Co. In this role, he oversees the ongoing development and implementation of Dow’s Corporate Energy Management System.
Joe is a graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He has over 36 years of working experience in the petrochemicals industry. He has extensive experience in plant operations and improvement, project development, management and execution in the US and internationally. The majority of Joe’s experience is in the area of industrial energy management and management systems.
Joe served as an Industry Expert member on the US Mirror Committee to TC 242 – during the development of ISO 50001 Energy Management Standard. He continues to serve on that committee and its working groups and is an active advisory board member and participant in several industry, government, NGO and international energy collaborative and initiatives.
