Expert in energy efficiency and energy technologies, Municipal Department for Energy Planning, City of Vienna, Innovative residential project called “MGG-22” (Game Changer in Housing Energy Supply)
Thomas Kreitmayer studied Renewable Urban Energy Systems at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien. During his studies, he worked for the Lower Austrian utility company EVN. There he was mainly responsible for the planning and design of decentralized biomass heating networks. Since February 2013, Thomas Kreitmayer has been working as an employee in the Municipal Department 20 – Energy Planning of the City of Vienna. The main tasks of the department are the management and coordination of Vienna’s energy programs and strategic work focusing on the decarbonization of cities. Thomas works in the department for energy efficiency. Among other things, he deals with innovative energy solutions for buildings.
